Green Asia Network

The Green Asia Network was first established in 1998, and over the last 2 decades, it has achieved expertise and recognition for its work on climate change adaptation and mitigation. Green Asia is accredited to the GEF, the UNFCCC, the UNCCD and received the Korean Presidential citation in 2008.  Over these years, a key area of expertise has been founded around the organization’s activities to address landscape degradation, desertification, and strategies for yellow dust mitigation in Mongolia.

Green Asia Network supports the "Green Rehabilitation Investment Project for Karakalpakstan Republic to Address Impacts of the Aral Sea Crisis (2021-2024)" in transferring experience from its expertise in Mongolia and its significant experience in convening stakeholder dialogues to help structure the stakeholder engagement efforts at multiple levels to enhance uptake of knowledge and skills to reduce vulnerability among small-holder farmers, build interest and information sharing among MSME/entrepreneurs who are interested in adopting green business models, among policymakers in prioritizing green growth priorities, and among potential international (incl. Korean) partners for financing, supply of inputs and value chain product importers.
