Mario Molina Center

The Centro Mario Molina (CMM), Mario Molina Center for Strategic Studies on Energy and the Environment, is a leading independent research centre in Mexico, founded by Nobel Prize in Chemistry, Dr. Mario Molina. Its mission is to design result-oriented public policy recommendations to solve complex challenges related to five key areas of research: sustainable energy, sustainable cities, climate change, environmental health & air quality, and education.

The Center strives to generate consensus amongst all segments of society, thus enabling the implementation of both technically and economically feasible measures that contribute to social well-being. This implies actions which transcend knowledge-making and involves engaging decision-makers to ensure that the Center's proposals and research turn into realistic solutions.
