Aastha Sharma is presently working as a Research Associate in the Green Growth and Resources Efficiency Division at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi. Her key assignments at TERI include Initiative on Green Growth and Development in India, Spatial Analysis for Green Growth, Green Growth Roadmap and Institutional Innovations, Economics of Desertification, Land Degradation and Drought (DLDD) in India and Energy and Environment Goals. She is the editor of TERI’s flagship publication TERI Energy & Environment Data Directory and Yearbook (TEDDY 2015/16 Updated Edition).
She has contributed as one of the lead authors for books titled Climate Resilient Green Growth Strategies for Punjab, Green Growth and Sustainable Development in India and Climate Resilient Green Growth Strategies for Himachal Pradesh. She has also been a lead author and contributing author for background papers titled Resource Efficiency Roadmap for Agriculture in Punjab and Green Growth and Agriculture in India. She holds a Master’s Degree in Geoinformatics from TERI University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from University of Delhi.
