
Alex Mauroner is the Network Director at AGWA, having previously served as a Research Associate until 2019. After performing an internship for AGWA in 2013, he rejoined the organization in late 2014. At AGWA, Mr. Mauroner helps coordinate the Knowledge Platform and supports our technical work and capacity building efforts, such as assisting with CRIDA initiatives and our work around finance and ecosystem-based adaptation, while working to coordinate the wide-ranging network activities. Mr. Mauroner runs AGWA's websites and leads our social media engagement as well as two of our newsletters. He is also a co-host, producer, and editor of the ClimateReady Podcast.
Alex holds a BA in Biology from Westminster College and a Professional Science Master’s in Environmental Science from Oregon State University, where he concentrated on natural resources, business, and communication.
