Amani Joas

Amani Joas, Master of Public Policy (MPP), is an energy economist working for Green Budget Germany. Mr Joas works as researcher and policy advisor with a special focus on environmental fiscal instruments and economic policy instruments. He specializes in optimal electricity tax design, funding schemes for renewable energy sources, electricity market design, energy efAficiency measures and fossil fuel subsidies. Mr Joas holds a BSc in Management Afrom the London School of Economics and an MPP from the Hertie School of Governance and the Luskin School of Public Affairs at UCLA.
