Arantza Aguilar Ramirez current works with in the Initiative Resource Efficiency and Climate Protection at the German Corporation for International Cooperation / Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ). This project was commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) to the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) as part of the International Climate Initiative (IKI). It seeks to strengthen the capacities of key public and private sector actors in emerging economies to develop and promote comprehensive measures and strategies to increase resource efficiency and improve climate action. Originally from Mexico, Arantza enjoys working in this project as it allows her to fully make use of her background, both academic and cultural. She holds a Bachelor degree in International relations and a Masters degree in Natural Resources Management and Development.
