Bernard Brès (born in 1965 in Gap, France) is an engineer, an aggregate teacher in technology and a third cycle graduate in international relationships. As a specialist of training engineering, Bernard spent more than a half of his career in Sub-Saharan Africa, managing projects aiming to develop professionalization in higher education, and to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in universities. He was also in charge of defining regional policies for professional training.
At 2iE (International Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering, Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso) he is C.E.O. Advisor and Technopark Director. Technopark is the department of the school managing relationships with private sector, valorization and promotion of entrepreneurship.
Bernard is a member of the French network of international development and cultural action, of Afrique Compétences Professionnelles Supérieures (Africa Higher Professional Skills) and of the association Friends of Island.
