
Bettina Heller is a Programme Officer in the United Nations Environment Programme’s Consumption and Production unit, where she coordinates the portfolios on eco-innovation/ sustainable business, with a focus on SMEs, and on circularity in the textile value chain. Previously, Bettina led projects in the area of consumer information, in particular around product sustainability communication, eco-labelling and product lifetime extension. Before joining UNEP, Bettina worked in the area of green industry at UNIDO.
Bettina completed her Master’s Degree in Global Studies at the University of Vienna (Austria), University of California, Santa Barbara (USA) and University of Wroclaw (Poland), and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Cultural and Business Studies from the University of Passau (Germany).
