Bulganmurun Tsevegjav (Bulgan) is a Program Integration Lead at the Green Growth Planning and Implementation Division of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI). Based in Manila, Philippines, she currently works at Philippine Country Program, providing professional expertise on ongoing program activities where GGGI is continuing to build its in-country assistance directed towards the paths to inclusive growth and climate resilience together with the Philippine Government. She manages a business case study project with the Department of Trade and Industry to assess benefits of green interventions among Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises with focus on the Food Processing Industry in the Philippines.
Through her professional volunteer support, Bulgan serves as expert to the Bamboo for Renewable Energy (TFB4RE) taskforce to develop voluntary Guideline Standards set up by the International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (INBAR) in addressing Sustainable Development Goal (SDG-7): Affordable and Clean Energy. The INBAR is a multilateral development organization consisting of 43-member states, which promotes environmentally sustainable development using bamboo and rattan.
In her previous role as Senior Program Officer in GGGI Mongolia, Bulgan lead designing and implementation of a number of green initiatives through inclusive stakeholder partnership together with the Government of Mongolia resulting into the delivery of projects and programs. In addition, she has been acting as International and National Resource Expert providing her support in formulation and translation of gender-sensitive and inclusive green growth policy planning documents, co-benefits research papers on climate change in collaboration with National Government agencies and International organizations (UNDP, ADB, IGES, UNFCCC, ILO, UNIDO, UNEP, ASEF, The Asia Foundation, WB, PCC ), delivered a series of capacity building programs and participated promotion of climate change mitigation, low-carbon financing and environmental projects at international, national and local levels.
She holds M.Sc. Degree in Energy and Environmental Management, School of Management and Governance, CSTM, University of Twente in Netherlands.
