Dalia Fadly is a PhD candidate in Economics at Philipps-Universität Marburg in Germany since January 2016 and is a research fellow at the Center for Near and Middle Eastern Studies (CNMS). Her research focuses on sustainability transition in developing countries with a special emphasis on environmental policy and green technology adoption. Prior to joining the CNMS, Dalia held a position as a policy research assistant at AECOM international development in Egypt working on a wide range of technical assistance projects related to economic planning with the Egyptian Government. She was a member of the consultative team designing the methodology of monitoring Egypt’s Sustainable Development Strategy, Egypt Vision 2030. Dalia had a range of expertise in academia and in working with international organizations like the European Investment Bank (EIB) where she was a trainee for a year at the Advisory services department at the headquarters office in Luxembourg. Dalia has a double MSc. degree in Economics from University of Warwick (UK) and Lund University (Sweden).
