
David Ryfisch is a consultant on climate change mitigation, adaptation, and financing at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). His current work aims at identifying the knowledge gaps in climate change adaptation in Latin American and the Caribbean. Previously, he had the opportunity to research on the green economy, in particular the innovation and dissemination of green technologies, while researching at the Centre for International Environmental Studies (CIES) and at the United Nations Environment Programme’s (UNEP) Research and Partnership Unit in Geneva. David holds a Masters Degree in International Economics from the Graduate Institute Geneva and a B.Sc. in International Economics and American Studies from the Eberhard Karls University, Tübingen in Germany.
