Daye Eom

Daye Eom is a Programme Management Intern at the Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP) secretariat based in Geneva, Switzerland. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, Korea. Before joining GGKP, she completed a Master’s degree program in Engineering Systems and Management at Masdar Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), located in the United Arab Emirates. In her dissertation, she built a simulation tool for rural electrification planning using agent based modeling approach. Her interest lies in off-grid solutions as well as business models and consumer financing mechanisms that can provide self-sufficiency to people through energy services.
