Dimitra Xynou is a Policy Analyst at OECD’s Environment Directorate. Her work focuses on the gender-environment nexus, and on mainstreaming gender equality and women’s empowerment in environmental policies. She is contributing on publications on the gender-environment nexus and on a gender-sensitive green recovery, as well as on developing gender-environment indicators. Prior to joining the OECD, Dimitra held various senior advisory positions in the Greek public administration, managing projects mainly on transport and economic development. She has also worked as a policy advisor in the European Parliament and in the private sector. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from Athens University of Economics and Business and her Master’s Degree on International Political Economy from the University of Warwick.
