Dr Tchamo is an economist and senior policy expert working at Ministry of Land and Environment of Mozambique as Green Economy Focal Point, and currently coordinating the Department of Studies and projects. He has more than 15 years’ experience working in government, international agencies, and donor-related projects in the public policies, monitoring and evaluation, green economy agenda, sustainable developments goals, strategic environment assessment, and resource mobilization.
He led the inter-ministerial green economy and natural capital working group, and under his scope of the work, provided local capacity building development programs targeting central government policy makers, planners, and local governments officers. These trainings include topics such as integrating green economy and climate into socio-economic development, SDGs monitoring and coordination mechanisms, national determined contributions, and more.
