Eileen Tipoe

Eileen Tipoe is a Fellow in Economics at the University of Oxford, having joined the department in 2017 upon completing her DPhil. Her research area is applied microeconomics, focusing on revealed preference and welfare analysis. She is currently working on interpersonal comparability of subjective wellbeing reports, and gender differences in academic career paths and perceptions of academics.
Dr. Tipoe is also a researcher for the CORE project, an open-access first-year economics curriculum taught in over 120 universities worldwide. As part of this project, she has co-authored Doing Economics, a free online eBook that uses empirical projects for a non-technical, hands-on approach to statistics and policy analysis.
