
Elena Reshetova is a Research Fellow at the Energy Studies Institute at the National University of Singapore. She has several years of experience researching natural gas market development in Asia and Europe, policymaking in the oil and gas industry in East Asia, ASEAN and North America, governance of nuclear energy, and the evolution of national energy security policies. Her research interests include political and economic risk analysis, challenges and opportunities in integrating renewables into national energy systems, energy transitions in remote communities of the Arctic and Southeast Asia, and urban energy systems in large Southeast Asian cities. Previously, she worked with government agencies, non-governmental organizations and research institutes in Russia, the United States and Singapore. Reshetova holds a PhD in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, an MA in International Affairs from Boston University, and a BA in Political Science and International Studies from Monmouth College.
