Emily Benson

Emily Benson leads communications efforts for the Green Economy Coalition which is currently housed at IIED. Her areas of expertise include communications; media outreach; stakeholder engagement; conducting global consultations to develop policy; and assessing the quality of stakeholder participation. Prior to IIED, Emily was Head of Communications and Engagement at Stakeholder Forum for a sustainable future, an international organisation working to empower the voices of different stakeholder groups in UN policy processes. Prior to that she was involved in documentary-making as a researcher and producer.
