Estefania Santacreu-Vasut is an Assistant Professor at the Economics Department of the Essec Business School and THEMA. In addition she is a Visiting Professor BEHL at UC Berkeley for several years. Estefania holds an M.Sc. in Economics from the University Pompeu Fabra and a PhD in Economics at UC Berkeley. Her research focuses on three axes: (1) the study of the interaction between language, culture and economics and implications for business, multinational companies and the labor market, (2) the institutional determinants of multinationals organizations and technology transfers from a contemporaneous and historical perspective and (3) the attitudes of individuals toward environmental taxes and energy related issues. Her research has been published in the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organizations, the Journal of International Business Studies, Applied Economic Letters and voxeu.org, as well as in the media outlets L'Express and The Huffington Post, France. She is a regular columnist of the economic section of the local magazine Llum, from Santa Cristina de Aro, Catalonia.
