
Ghita is a climate finance expert, with 11 years’ experience working with the United Nations and financial institutions.
Ghita is the International Finance Corporation (IFC) country officer for Morocco. Prior to joining IFC, Ghita was a Programme Officer at the Energy Finance Unit of the UN Environment Programme. She worked with project developers, governments, commercial and development banks. Ghita’s focus was on developing institutional capacity, Public Private Partnerships, climate-related project and strategies for the uptake of renewable energy and energy efficiency for the Mediterranean region and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Ghita holds a MSc in Auditing, Management Accounting & Information Systems from Skema Business School and a master’s degree in corporate finance.
