Giovanni Marin is Assistant professor of Applied Economics at the Department of Economics, Society, Politics at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo (Italy) since November 2016 and research affiliate of the Inter-University Research Consortium SEEDS (Sustainability Environmental Economics and Dynamics Studies). He teaches Environmental Economics, Economics of Innovation and Applied Econometrics. He received a PhD in Economics, Markets and Institutions from the IMT Institute for Advanced Studies Lucca (Italy) in 2012 and has been Post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Sustainable Economic Growth of the National Research Council of Italy (IRCrES-CNR). Since 2014 he is part of the IRCrES-CNR team of the European Topic Centre on Waste and Materials in the Green Economy (ETC-WMGE) maintained by the European Environment Agency. He is author of journal articles on environmental innovations, green jobs, environmentally extended input output analysis and environmental policy valuation. He is Associate Editor of the journal Environment, Development and Sustainability.
