
Gloria Ordóñez Valenzuela is a specialist in Environmental Education and Sustainable Lifestyles at the Regional Office of Latin America and the Caribbean at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Her work is focused on the design and implementation of programs and policies for environmental education, sustainable consumption and production, and sustainable lifestyles. She supports the implementation of global programs in the regional context, such as the Environmental Training Network for Latin America and the Caribbean, Youth and Education Alliance (YEA!), The 10 Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production Patterns (One Planet Network), Greening the Blue Initiative and Global Opportunities for SDGs (Go4SDGs). She has experience in implementing sustainability and climate neutrality criteria for green offices, as well as developing programs to promote social and environmental entrepreneurship for youth, and supporting behavior change campaigns.
