Heidi Hautala

Heidi Hautala is a Vice-President of the European Parliament and former Minister for International Development and State Ownership Steering of Finland. Currently Heidi is a member of the International Trade committee, Human Rights subcommittee and a substitute member on the Legal Affairs committee.

She focuses on human rights, transparency and sustainable and responsible business. She established a cross-party working group on Responsible Business Conduct at the European Parliament and acts as its Chair. Before this legislature she has been a MEP in 1995-2003, 2009-2011 and 2014-present.
