Henri-Bernard Solignac-Lecomte coordinates the OECD Development Centre’s work on Africa, including the African Economic Outlook (AEO), a partnership with the African Development Bank and UNDP. He has led numerous research projects on international trade, private sector development, development finance and public attitudes towards development cooperation. He has extensive experience in policy dialogue, evaluation and change management. Before joining the Centre, he was an influential analyst of the renegotiation of ACP/EU trade agreements at the European Centre for Development Policy Management and the Overseas Development Institute. Initially trained in Corporate Management, he holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne).
