Jayasurya Kalakkal

Jayasurya Kalakkal is a consultant at the Environment and Trade Hub of the United Nations Environment Programme, focusing on biodiversity and trade. Prior to this, she has worked on the Biodiversity Finance Initiative with UNDP in India, on chapters on climate change and disaster risk reduction in UNEP State of the Environment and Outlook reports with the Environmental Pulse Institute, Washington DC, as well as on regional trade agreements and their environmental provisions with Tulip Consulting. Kalakkal holds a BA in Social Sciences from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Hyderabad, and an MA in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po, Paris.
