Jehan Sauvage is a Trade Policy Analyst in the Trade and Agriculture Directorate of the OECD, where he specialises on questions at the interface of trade and environmental policies. In this capacity, he has conducted a number of studies on topics such as electricity markets and the trade impacts of environmental regulations. He is also a lead author of the OECD’s Inventory of measures supporting fossil fuels, and an internationally recognised expert on fossil-fuel subsidies. His previous work has focussed on international services trade, including the estimation of trade costs and the preferential content of services trade agreements. He holds a MSc in European political economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a MPhil in economics from SciencesPo Paris.
