Kang Chen is a Programme Management Intern at the Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP) secretariat based in Geneva, Switzerland. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the Shanghai University in China, and graduated with a Master’s degree in Urban Economic Development at the University College London in Britain. Currently, he is a PhD student of the University of Hong Kong and his research focuses on resource-dependent community’s sustainable development.
Kang has been researching sustainability issues for many years and he appreciates the vision of the GGKP to realise the green economy transition by promoting collaborations with global partners. As an intern, Kang is highly motivated to support the development of the GGKP in generating, managing and sharing green growth knowledge.
