Kubat Kanimetov

Kubat Kanimetov is Executive Director of the NGO Promotion and Development Center of Kyrgyzstan. 

Kubat Kanimetov for 10 years worked in the scientific field of the Academy of Sciences, where, as an applied mathematician, he was engaged in modeling hydrodynamic, aerodynamic and environmental processes in nature. Since 1994, being a civil servant, he worked in the financial and economic sphere and was involved in strategic planning and reform of the public administration system. Since 2006, he heads the NGO "Center for Promotion and Development" (Center), whose activities are aimed at providing consulting services on:

• carrying out diagnostics of the activities of government bodies and business organizations;
• analysis of global development trends and the development of country strategic guidelines.
• implementation of the principles of results-oriented work;
• development of strategic development documents.

During the operation of the Center, it developed strategies for the country's development at the sectoral, regional and interdepartmental levels, as well as diagnosed the work of many state bodies: from the Government Office and the Supreme Court Office to the Ministry of Justice and the Department of Public Procurement of Kyrgyzstan.

Since 2006, he has been designing a new lifestyle "JYrgalism", in which the Happiness Index is the main criterion for success. As part of this activity, he participates in international analytical platforms such as: "The Economy of Happiness" and "Alternative Indicators of Well-being".a
