Lilia Lakhtionova

Lilia Lakhtionova is the Director of the Public Procurement Department at the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.

Before taking this appointment in October 2017, Ms Lakhtionova was serving as Deputy Director of the same Department during 4 years. The Department, in accordance with its competence, develops procurement policy, conducts an analysis of the functioning of the public procurement system, consolidates best procurement practices, interacts with the civil society and informs it about the policy and rules of public procurement and cooperates with foreign and international partners, etc.

From 2005 to 2013 Ms Lakhtionova was occupying a position of a Deputy Head of the Municipal Department of Education in financial and economic affairs and served as the Chairman of the Tender Committee. During this period the Tender Committee conducted about 600 procedures, including purchasing of food and dining services, capital repairs of buildings, furniture and equipment, etc.
