Lisa Klinger is a policy advisor at the Cluster Financial Systems Development of the German development agency GIZ. Her current responsibilities include advising Germany´s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development on how to best design and implement sustainable finance policies in partner countries. She is also coordinating a training program for Central Banks in Southern Africa on risk and reserve management including a focus on ESG integration into investment processes.
Before joining GIZ three years ago, Lisa had worked for the OECD assessing policy reforms on investment and sustainable economic development in transition economies of Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus. She holds a MSc in Economics of the University of Cologne and has done her BSc in International Business at the University of Tuebingen and the Higher School of Economics in Moscow.
