Mariana Heinrich

Mariana Heinrich leads WBCSD’s energy program, facilitating global coalitions of business and external stakeholders to accelerate the transition to a sustainable world by implementing innovative business models in the energy industry. She supports companies in their development of sustainable business strategies and implementation or investment in innovative energy solutions.

Mariana joined WBCSD in 2015 from Pöyry Management Consulting, where she was a Senior Consultant for seven years. In this role she led projects in the electricity sector, focusing on integrating renewables into electricity markets, including market modelling and advising clients on investment decisions. Mariana has a Master’s degree in Economics from the Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel.
