
Maroussia is a Policy Analyst (consultant) in the Environment and Economy Integration (EEI) Division of the OECD Environment Directorate, concentrating on resource efficiency and waste issues. Prior to joining the OECD, Maroussia worked as a European affairs consultant in Brussels, advising clients on policy and regulatory developments at EU level. She has specific expertise in EU trade policy gained while she worked in the Cabinet of the (former) European Commissioner for Trade, Karel De Gucht. In addition to her work in international organizations, Maroussia has a strong interest in writing and communication, and has worked as a free-lancer for several newspapers including in New York for a news agency based in the United Nations Headquarters. Maroussia is Belgian and holds two bachelor degrees in Economics and in Politics, and a Masters’ degree in International Affairs from Sciences Po Paris.
