Matteo is a Macroeconomic Consultant working on the NZNP Planning and Modelling. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from LUISS University and a master’s in Development Economics from the University of Amsterdam. Before joining UNEP, he worked on macroeconomic policy and forecasting, sustainable development, and multi-stakeholder technical cooperation projects on technology for development across public and private sectors, including at UN Trade and Development. Most recently, he has consulted for the GEF IEO and Conservation International. His expertise lies in policy analysis and applied econometrics.
