Maya is green economy learning specialist with UNITAR’s Green Development and Climate Change Programme Unit where she focuses on country-specific and global capacity development projects in the area of the green economy, circular economy and climate change. Maya is passionate about using partnership approaches, social innovation and collaborative learning to resolve some of the key challenges of today. She is a strong believer that ideas, awareness and knowledge can lead to behavioural and institutional change, resulting in sustainable and happy societies.
