Minhyuk Hong

Minhyuk joined UNEP’s Economy and Trade Policy Unit as an Associate Expert in 2024. Prior to this position, he worked as a consultant at UNDP for approximately five years, following over two years in a development consulting firm and the Korean Ministry of National Defense. He is a PhD Candidate in International Development from Seoul National University and a holder of a master’s degree in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science. His professional and academic interests are in the area of public environmental finance.
