Misato Sato
Research Officer, Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment
Misato is a Research Officer at London School of Economics (LSE) and Political Science. At LSE, Misato works on the evaluation of energy and climate change policies, with focus on energy intensive industries. Misato has a PhD in Environmental Economics from the LSE, titled Carbon emissions and bilateral trade. She was previously a research assistant at the Faculty of Economics, Cambridge University. She has a MSc in Environmental and Resource Economics from UCL and an MA (Joint Hons) in Economics and Chinese from Edinburgh University.
Misato's research interests include: EU Emissions Trading Scheme design and impacts; industrial competitiveness impacts from green policies; and environment, trade and carbon leakage.
