Mohamed Mazen is currently working as an advisor for Sustainable Industrial Areas Management in The Egyptian German Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises Project (PSME) implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit - GIZ. His main work is to support the private and public Industrial Areas to be more sustainable in terms of Management, Environmental, Social and Economic aspects.
Mohamed Mazen worked for 6 years as project coordinator in Egypt's National Cleaner Production Center (ENCPC) since 2013. His work at ENCPC included participation in Resource Efficiency and Cleaner Production Audits and providing technical solutions for the industry. Mohamed participated in the preparation and delivery of various training, awareness, and capacity building events for the different components of resource efficiency and waste management. Mohamed worked on developing and implementing entrepreneurship support programs in the fields of waste management, water management and renewable energy. Mohamed also provides support to entrepreneurs and startups in developing and testing their business models in addition to preparing technical and feasibility studies for their business. He graduated from the faculty of engineering of the petrochemicals department.
