Nick Wilson is the Assistant Coordinator of the Donor Committee for Enterprise Development (DCED) Secretariat.
The DCED is a forum for learning about the most effective ways to create economic opportunities for the poor, based on practical experience in Private Sector Development. It brings together 22 members – funding and inter-governmental agencies – who share the vision of making PSD more effective by: sharing experience between agencies and field programmes; developing and disseminating knowledge and guidance on good practice in PSD; and communicating evidence on results in PSD. The DCED has a dedicated Green Growth knowledge page and Working Group of members.
Nick leads the DCED Secretariat’s work on Green Growth and Women’s Economic Empowerment. He holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Essex, and an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge.
