Nitya Kaushik

As Media Lead - Communications, Nitya Kaushik’s primary role at WRI India is to manage media relations, facilitate judicious and effective coverage of WRI activities, events, position and viewpoints.

Before joining WRI, Nitya worked with the conservation organization WWF-India, leading communications for their Species and Landscapes program. Her career as a communicator in the social sector began with Greenpeace in 2011. She has also spent a decade as a print journalist in Mumbai – including serving as an environment correspondent in the national daily The Indian Express.
