
“Nomie” Enkhtur brings a track record of designing green finance mechanisms and frameworks, while building transformative partnerships to catalyze public- and private- financing in order to advance low-carbon and resilient growth both nationally and globally. Recognized for her contributions to mainstream sustainable finance, and possessing unique insights into the needs of financial institutions and the government, she successfully led the Mongolian Sustainable Finance Initiative and related platforms that leverage a combination of expertise, network, and results orientation to align diverse interests to deliver impact and results.
Nomindari successfully shaped, launched and accelerated strategies for financial institutions by building sustainable and green finance capacities and demonstrating results for increasing public and private capital flows into green projects. Her career highlights include the establishment of the Mongolian Sustainable Finance Association, the initiation and design of the Mongolia Green Finance Corporation project, the creation of a national sustainable finance strategy and green taxonomy based on public-private alliances, the development of a climate change strategy and portfolio emissions framework for one of the largest global private equity firms, and the successful introduction of sustainable finance practices into the banking sector of Mongolia and Cambodia.
Nomindari currently serves as CEO of the Mongolian Sustainable Finance Association, where she has worked on a number of consultancy assignments with IFC, UNEP, UNICEF, GIZ and Partners Group. Nomindari also works as Portfolio Management Consultant to the UN Joint SDG Fund, covering a portfolio of 30+ countries in Asia, Europe and Middle East working on various sustainable finance solutions including biodiversity finance. Nomindari holds a master’s degree in Sustainability Management from Columbia University in New York and is a Fulbright Awardee.
