Nozipho Mbanjwa is a global moderator, broadcaster, and entrepreneur. She has moderated conversations for the World Bank Group, the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations and its organs, and for multinationals operating in Africa. Nozipho is an anchor and producer for CNBC Africa. She has hosted shows covering financial markets, political economy, development finance, gender mainstreaming, and youth development, and advocates for the inclusion of youth and women in the African economy.
She is also the Co-founder and CEO of The Talent Firm and leads the team in supporting corporate clients to deliver high-impact learning journeys for their black, women, and millennial talent. Nozipho is a faculty member at Duke Corporate Education, as well as a 2015/16 Young African Leadership Initiative Fellow, and 2018 Archbishop Desmond Tutu Leadership Fellow.
She has previously worked in The Presidency in South Africa, the Mayor’s Office in Washington DC, the Umlambo Foundation, as well as Tata Africa in Johannesburg. She is an alumni of the University of London (Masters in International Studies), Stellenbosch Business School (Masters in Development Finance – cum laude), University of Pretoria (Hons: International Relations), and has completed shorter courses at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (Leadership) and the University of the Witwatersrand (Marketing).
