He is a serial entrepreneur, technocrat and agriculturist, with a distinctly unique and innovative approach that finds inspiration from the principles of Nature and biomimicry. He is an invited speaker, teacher and mentor who conducts leadership training and serves as invited faculty for premium management institutes such as IIM-B India, Lancaster UK, McGill Canada, Yokohama Japan and FGV/EBAPE Brazil, sharing his experience and expertise with aspiring students and faculty, on Nature-inspired business ecosystems approaches and other emerging management philosophies based on proven practices.
At t4u, he has conceptualized and enabled value ecosystems across various segments and industries as diverse as Natural Resources, Automotive Logistics, and Urban Mobility, bringing together diverse stakeholders, delivering values to all, with proven revenue models and multiple revenue streams. He has pioneered and conceptualized new age economic models that knit together private, public, social sectors as well as the scientific community, academia and citizenry – all coming together via collaborative platforms enabled by digital technologies that herald seismic shifts in the current economic landscape and point to a more inclusive, connected and intelligent world, predicated on empathy.
Pratap has represented the Government of India as part of several official Trade and Technology delegations such as FICCI, NASSCOM, and Software Export Promotion Council [ESC] delegation to Europe, Middle East, South East Asia, Central Asia, and Africa etc. Nominated to lead business delegations and conferences, Pratap has been a passionate advocate/speaker in promoting Indian trade and businesses in the international arena.
He is a keen follower of the principles of biomimicry, bio-empathy, conservation of Nature, and is a passionate practitioner and advocate for organic farming, farmer producer organizations [FPOs] and preservation of natural ecosystems. He is inspired by the villages of India and their robust and thriving natural farming culture. He has enabled the creation of FPO or Farmer Producer Organizations to help small holdings owners enhance profitability, a grave need of the hour for agri-businesses.
Mr. Hegde is a seasoned globe-trotter having visited more than 50 countries across the Americas, Africa, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, West Asia, Central Asia, South East Asia and Australia.
