Ramiro Parrado Is a Senior Researcher of the Climate Change Economic Impacts and Adaptation Programme at the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM). Ramiro joined the FEEM in 2006 and also works with the Climate and Impact Policies research team at the Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Climate Change (CMCC). His main research fields are the economics of climate change and the quantitative assessment of climate change policies and impacts. He is also contributing to the analysis of decarbonization implications for the Italian economy including trade and competitiveness issues as part of the Deep Decarbonization Pathways Project. Involved in several of the European Commission's Sixth and Seventh Framework Programme and H2020 integrated projects, Ramiro has also been a guest researcher for the Ecological and Environmental Economics Programme at The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics in 2006 and a visiting researcher at the Centre for European Economic Research/Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung GmbH (ZEW) in 2010. Ramiro holds a PhD in Science and Management of Climate Change from Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, a Master Degree in Economics from the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar in collaboration with the econometrics department of the Université de Genève, and a Degree in Economics at the Universidad Católica Boliviana.
