Ria Sinha

Dr. Ria Sinha is an expert in climate finance, voluntary sustainability standards and business sustainability, with nearly eight years of experience in industry and academia. She is currently a Senior Manager in the Policy and Planning Department with Development Alternatives, working on issues pertaining to climate financing, clean energy and resource efficiency. She is also a Visiting Faculty Member in the Department of Business and Sustainability at the TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS) in New Delhi, India. Dr. Sinha holds a PhD in Business Sustainability from TERI SAS, where she was also an HSBC Scholar, and an MA in Economics from the University of Calcutta. As a DAAD-German Indian Climate Change Dialogue Fellow, she spent time in Germany and presented her research at conferences in Berlin, Vienna and Boston. She was also invited as an ICRIER Young Scholar by the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) Summer Institute in Massachusetts.
