
Ms. Schwarzelühr-Sutter has served as the Parliamentarian State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety since December 2013.
She is a member of the SME Advisory Council of the German Reconstruction Loan Corporation (Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau) since 2014.
Ms. Schwarzelühr-Sutter has been chairing the Board of Trustees of the German Federal Environmental Foundation (Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt) and the Supervisory Board of Global Research for Safety (Gesellschaft für Anlagen- und Reaktorsicherheit) over the past 6 years.
She served as a member of the Bundestag from 2005 to 2009 and again since October 2010.
Her education includes studies in economics at Freiburg and Zurich University, Graduation in with licentiate in economics, degree in business administration.
