Rory is an Australian water resource and environmental specialist. He built his international career on the Mekong and Irrawaddy rivers, after completing a Masters in Integrated Water Management at the International WaterCentre (University of Queensland).
More recently, Rory was the Program Lead for Australia’s flagship water for development program, which saw him manage over $40 million of investments across the Asia-Pacific region. He spent over a decade in Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia working on a broad range of environment, water and climate-resilience programs/projects with the World Bank, Mekong River Commission, Australian Aid and as Country Director for the International Centre for Environmental Management (ICEM).
Rory landed in Nairobi earlier this year with his young family and has quickly taken to the local music and exploring the beautiful landscapes East Africa has to offer.
