Mr. Sanjay Srivastava is Manager of Environment, Natural Resources and Blue Economy Global Practice for a part of West and Central Africa region at the World Bank based in Washington DC. He is a trained Chemical and Environmental Engineer with more than 30 years of development experience with focus on promoting environmental sustainability and climate change agenda. His leadership experience includes 15 years in Africa and South Asia region; and several years with private sector (manufacturing and environmental consulting companies), public sector, donors and non-government organization (conservation NGO). He is global leader with experience in developing program of policy dialogue, institutional building, promoting cleaner technology and enhancing better management of natural capital to support green, resilient, and inclusive development in the West and Central Africa.
