Shailly Kedia is a Fellow at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi. She has led interdisciplinary initiatives involving policy research, advocacy and capacity building on green growth, climate policy and sustainable development supported by agencies and organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme, United Nations Environment Programme, Asian Development Bank, Global Green Growth Institute, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Environment and Forests, World Bank, foundations, corporates, bilateral agencies and state governments.
She is a Board Member of World Sustainable Development Forum and has been Member of the Taskforce on Greening Rural Development of the Ministry of Rural Development, Member of the Indo-German Expert Group on Green and Inclusive Economy, and Co-chair of the Green Growth Knowledge Platform Research Committee on Inclusiveness. Before joining TERI, she worked with the Sustainable Development Network of the World Bank in Washington, DC; and with the Center for Climate Systems Research at Columbia University and NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York. She has studied engineering, business administration, finance and international studies. She is presently a doctoral candidate with the School of International Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi.
