Shalini Sharma is the CEO of E-WasteExchange.com and Managing Director at the Institute for Circular Economy & the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), where she navigates the nexus of climate change management, e-waste management, resource efficiency, circular economy and SDGs in India.
During her 12 years of experience, Shalini worked on environmental impact assessment and management plans; capacity building for industry, governments and institutes; resource efficiency and cleaner production, low carbon pathways; GHG accounting for governments and businesses; and the design and development of e-waste policy, industry & investment policies.
Shalini has worked on various national and international development projects from international funding agencies, including The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the World Bank, the Shakthi foundation, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and more.
She also served as a Research and independent non-governmental organizations (RINGO) focal point for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and attended the 17th and 18th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 17 and COP18 respecitvely). She provided inputs for both COP18 and the thirty-eighth session of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA38/SB38).
