Sigita Strumskyte is the Coordinator for Sustainable Development and Gender in the OECD Environment Director’s Office. She manages OECD work on the environment-gender nexus and oversees various initiatives relating to the integration of inclusiveness goals in environmental policies. She manages the OECD Round Tables on Sustainable Development since 2020. She has contributed to publications on policy coherence for sustainable development, SDG governance, gender and infrastructure, and gender and the environment. She also served as advisor to the OECD High Level Representative to the UN, as advisor on accession countries, and worked on private sector development in Eurasian countries, including on questions relating to energy markets and policies.Prior to her current role at the OECD, she worked in the private sector, supporting entrepreneurship and business development. Sigita has a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences from Kaunas University and an MBA from INSEAD.
