SoEun Ahn is a natural resource economist in the Korea Environment Institute (KEI). Her research interests include economic valuation of ecosystem services and natural capital stocks, development of integrated assessment framework linking biophysical modeling and economic valuation via impact pathway analysis, and mainstreaming environmental valuation into decision making process in local and national levels.
Prior to joining the KEI in 2003, SoEun was a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Forestry, North Carolina State University and Associate Scientist in the Department of Resource Economics and Policy, University of Maine. She received her PhD from the North Carolina State University in 1997.
